Daniel was suspended from his own job after my company reported unauthorized access and potential business interference.
He blamed me.
His mother called me.
I did not answer.
She left a voicemail anyway.
Emily, marriage requires grace. Men make mistakes when they feel disrespected. You should have reassured him instead of humiliating him.
I forwarded it to Karen.
Maya listened once and said, “His mother raised a lawsuit with shoes.”
I needed that laugh.
Daniel’s father called too.
He did not defend him.
He said, “I’m sorry. I should have recognized the pattern. His mother calls it passion. I call it control.”
That surprised me.
He offered to testify if needed about Daniel’s temper.
